　LCD monitor is easier to damage than CRT monitor. How to maintain it?

1、How to clean LCD panel

　You can find that there is dust on the surface of LCD panel after some time’s usage and can see the dust more clearly when the power supply is off. Sometimes there is some water trace on the surface, which will surely influence the visual effect. How to clean it?

　（1）At first, please turn off the power and take off the plug of power and cable of displaying card.

　（2）Move LCD monitor to a bright place so as to see the dust clearly.

　（3）It is unnecessary to clean the LCD panel with special liquid or scraping cloth. In our opinion, water + soft cloth without floss or cotton cloth without floss or tissue without scraps is the best tool to clean LCD panel. Please gently wipe the wet cloth from one end to another end on the surface.

　Attention: please do not clean it with coin or hard paper. At the same time, please never use alcohol or related liquid as well as spray liquid directly to the surface to clean.

　（4）Please use a less wet cloth to wipe it again after using a wet soft cloth to clean it. And place it at a ventilated location to dry it with natural wind.

2、Other Attentions for Maintenance

　（1）Avoid Shake.

　Please avoid strong shock and shake to LCD panel because it is very fragile. Never press hard on the surface of LCD panel or on the rear cover of a monitor.

　（2）Avoid Long Time Usage of LCD Panel

　Long time work is not good for LCD panel. Please turn off the power if you do not use the monitor. Also please be careful to use wallpaper and screens save. Most of wallpaper and screens save are colorful. The color of LCD will be distorted if it is used for a long time. Thus, the life of a LCD monitor will be shortened. So, it is recommended to use single color screen or cancel screens save.

　（3）Prevent Electromagnetism Interference

　Both CRT and LCD monitors should be used away from electromagnetism. Strong electromagnetism around will create additional voltage inside a monitor so as to influence the stability of a monitor. The long influence of strong electromagnetism can distort the color. As a result, the displaying quality and life of a monitor will be damaged.

　（4）Pay Attention to Humidity

　Please do not let any humidity enter LCD. If the humidity is higher than that inside LCD, there might be dew inside LCD, which might create leakage or short circuit or even damage the monitor. Please place LCD monitor at a dry location or use a lamp to firing the rear cover of a LCD monitor periodically so as to vaporize the water inside the monitor.
